Ideally the graft should be harvested 1.5 cm from the Stensen's duct and 1.5 cm from the external edge of the cheek (b). Although the size of the graft varies according to the size of the cheek and to the length of the strictured urethra, for standard one-stage penile or bulbar urethroplasty, it should be 4 cm long and 2.5 cm wide
