This correspondence focuses the lurking danger of testicular torsion in children frolicking in giant wheels and roller coasters.

The rapid descent and deceleration inherent in these rides are probably conducive to testicular torsion. I suspect that many cases of testicular torsion engineered by such rides go unreported. It may be prudent to caution parents about this inherent possibility and the necessity of insisting on reasonably tight scrotal support to preempt torsion.
