"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.''
George Bernard Shaw
Technological innovations in the last decade have made tremendous impact on human life. Even before the urologist could adapt to the "keyhole revolution "the robot assisted procedures are making great strides. The ability to integrate latest computer technology to microsurgical instruments and human hands opens up a new dimension which may change the future of surgery. The only limitation being the cost and health care economics. This issue of IJU has in-depth review of these procedures by the best in this field.
This is the last issue of 2005 and we hope to publish IJU quarterly from next year. I would request you all to read the guidelines by logging on to www.indianjurol.com. There are several new columns where you will be able to contribute.
With best wishes,
