The trend in surgical practice today is towards developing minimally invasive techniques. The development of small calibre flexible instruments permits endoscopic surgery in the urinary tract to treat a wide variety of lesions within the kidney. This article reviews the indications, instruments, technique and current status of retrograde intrarenal surgery. |
