Nephrogenic adenoma is an infrequently encountered lesion of the urinary bladder and is thought to be a meta-plastic response to a chronic irritation. The histology of this lesion is quite characteristic. If one is not aware of this entity, a mistaken diagnosis of malignancy may be rendered.
